Nigerian Foundries Group is a 53-year old reverse engineering group of companies that offers tailor-made products and solutions to the West African Industries. We produce ferrous & non-ferrous castings, test/counter weights, a variety of fabrications and components made by additive manufacturing (3D Printing). In addition, we have heat treatment, pattern making and machining facilities.

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Ogun

Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including:

  1. Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  3. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  4. Assisting with cost accounting activities, including tracking and analyzing production costs,.
  5. Processing accounts payable and receivable, including managing payments to vendors and collections from customers,
  6. Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  7. Contributing to the development and implementation of internal control procedures.
  8. Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and ensuring compliance.

Job Requirements
You are a great fit for this role if you have:

  • An HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software packages
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary 
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
