Job Description
- The Accountant shall be is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company.
Job Responsibilities
The specific job duties and responsibilities of the accountant include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Developing and maintaining the company’s budget, as well as forecasting financial performance based on current and future market conditions.
- Managing the company’s accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Managing the company’s payroll, including processing employee payments and ensuring compliance with tax and employment laws.
- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends and patterns in the company’s financial performance, as well as to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Ensuring that the company is compliant with all relevant accounting regulations and standards, as well as for preparing financial reports and statements for external stakeholders.
- Provides financial data and analysis to support decision-making by the company’s management team.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of a First Degree in Accounting. Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Two to three years’ experience in a manufacturing accounting role is also required.
- A good practical working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software is required.
Remuneration
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
