Job Position: Accountant
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  1. Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  2. Manage general ledger entries, including adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  5. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  6. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
  7. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing data and insights to management.
  8. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  9. Maintain accurate and organised financial records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
  10. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 2 years of experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 per month.
