Job Position: Accountant
Location: Ogudu, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for the monthly report
  2. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  3. Ensure accurate and appropriate documentation of revenue and expenditures.
  4. Analyse and advise on business operations, including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitment, and future revenue.
  5. Prepare product-by-product Analysis reports for management use.
  6. Credit control and debtor management control.
  7. Attend to all regulatory authorities (including Taxes). LIRS, FIRS, PAYE, PENSION.
  8. Daily posting of accounting entries.
  9. Prepare and post an invoice for all sales (cash/Credit)
  10. General ledger operations
  11. Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
  12. Prepare budgets and forecasts.
  13. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, monitor and resolve bank issues, including fee anomalies and check differences.
  14. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Accounts.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 1 – 4 years relevant work experience.
