Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Sabo – Yaba, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions in the company.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide an overview of the financial health of the organization.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights into business performance, trends, and areas that need attention.
  • Supervise and manage the reconciliation and settlement department in overseeing the accounts payable and receivables while ensuring timely processing, recordings and payments.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Prepare and submit report of the accounts to the Chief Financial Officer on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degrees with 3 – 4 years relevant work experience.
  • ICAN and ACCA certification is a must.
  • Proven work experience as an Accountant in a financial institution.
  • Previous experience working in the payment solution field.
  • Solid familiarity with Fintech processes.
  • Experience in creating financial statements.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong adherence to ethical standards while maintaining integrity.
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Solid and in-depth understanding of tax codes and laws.
  • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
