Job Description
- The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledgers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely tax filing and compliance with all financial regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing and employee benefits calculations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide financial reports to senior management for strategic planning.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, payroll systems, and financial analysis.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 / month.
