Job Position: Accounting / Administrative Officer

Job Location: Ogudu Ori-Oke, Lagos

Job Description

  • This job is a blend of accounting, administrative and general services functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Management of all accounts/finance-related functions,
  • Manage all accounting/financial transactions – including accounts payables/receivables, records, bookkeeping, etc,
  • Reconcile bank transfers (inflows/outflows) with internal accounting records,
  • Facilitate the preparation of periodic business plans and budgets,
  • Monitor income/expenditure in line with the budget, and produce monthly financial and budget performance reports,
  • Manage the preparation of the payroll, and other related functions,
  • Providing general administrative support in accordance with Management’s instructions for effective and efficient running of the school operations,
  • Ensure good operation and functionality of various office equipment/facilities, ensure preventive maintenance, etc,
  • Assist in organizing events/activities, and support business development initiatives whenever needed,
  • Perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by management.

Job Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Accounting, Business Admin.
  • Previous work experience in a reputable school will be an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
  • Excellent IT capability.
  • A strong business orientation: including setting short- and long-term plans/priorities.
  • Excellent communication.
