Job Position: Accounting Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  2. Appraise, evaluate, and take inventory of company assets while maintaining an asset register.
  3. Recording, Reconciling, and Posting Petty cash and Fuel imprest.
  4. Reconciliation of payments and receipts
  5. Confirmation of customer deposits and Issuance of receipts
  6. Manage all accounting transactions.
  7. Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
  8. Auditing financial information
  9. Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.
  10. Any other related tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements

  1. HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 2+ years post-NYSC experience in a relevant accounting role.
  3. Experience with accounting software is an added advantage.
  4. Must be analytical, pay attention to detail and have excellent customer service.
  5. Knowledge and competency in accounting principles
