Job Position: Accounts & Admin Officer

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description 

  1. Prepare profit and loss statements on behalf of the business.
  2. Set up accounting practices and procedures for the company and advise on how to manage these. Processing expense reports, payroll, VAT returns, CAC Annual returns and other statutory filings on behalf of the company and Sister Companies.
  3. Analyze budgets and other financial information and advise where savings could be made.
  4. Help to produce budgets for businesses and implement strategies for cost savings.
  5. Ensure company accounts and tax returns are prepared and filed correctly and on time.
  6. Sending and receiving documents and Parcels for the company
  7. Supporting marketing, sales and field/project activities;
  8. All other duties as may be assigned to you.

Job Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in a relevant field with 1 – 3 years work experience.
  2. Female only.
  3. Background in Accounting with cognate post-graduation work experience as an Accounts & Admin Officer.
  4. Able to quickly assimilate new technical knowledge and interested in building a career with a growth-oriented Company.
  5. Solid organizational and planning skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
  7. Computer literacy, especially with regard to modern scientific user interfaces, document and presentation preparation and report writing
  8. An understanding of business management systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and knowledge of a CRM tool is an asset
  9. Extensive travel within and outside lagos are an essential part of the job.
  10. Integrity and confidentiality.
  11. Time management skills.
  12. Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
  13. Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills
