Job Position: HR / Admin Assistant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. The Admin and Human Resource Executive will be responsible for assisting the Admin and HR Manager in managing all employee and human resource activities within the organization.
  2. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the HR manager with human resource planning through constant review of workforce demographics and labor market analysis.
  2. Identify human resource-focused strategies that support the company’s objectives and assist managers with their role in implementing change.
  3. Develop and update policies and promote programs that align with the company’s objectives
  4. Work closely with the management team to provide advice and support on human-resource-related issues
  5. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  6. Ensure compliance with the staff handbook.
  7. Manage all recruitment needs for the company, including implementing and continually developing a robust recruitment process.
  8. Create and implement effective onboarding plans, Develop training and development programs
  9. Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes. . Assessing staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  10. Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  11. Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  12. Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  13. Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent. Professional Certification is an added advantage, i.e., CIPM, ACA, ACCA, etc.
  2. At least 4 years of relevant experience in full spectrum of HR and Administration
  3. Well-versed with the Nigerian Labour Law & Employment Act and other related regulations
  4. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  5. Good team player with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  6. Well-organised, analytical and resourceful
  7. Possesses an energetic and lively personality
  8. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  9. Excellent computer skills and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) knowledge
  10. Comfortable working in a highly visible role
  11. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  12. Honest, ethical, and dependable.
