Job Description

  • The Logistic Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods and materials throughout our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials and products.
  2. Conduct regular stock checks, manage stock rotation, and implement effective inventory control measures.
  3. Process purchase orders, sales orders, and shipping documents accurately and efficiently.
  4. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled promptly.
  5. Plan and coordinate the shipment of products to customers locations.
  6. Identify opportunities for cost savings in logistics and supply chain operations.
  7. Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce expenses.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and shipments.
  9. Generate regular reports on logistics and supply chain performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs).

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  2. Proven experience as a Logistic Officer or in a similar logistics role.
  3. Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software and tools.
  4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
