Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced HR and Admin Officer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR and admin functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, payroll processing, and general office administration.
- The HR and Admin Officer will work closely with management to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed and will act as the first point of contact for all HR and administrative queries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and issuing offer letters.
- Employee Relations: Maintaining positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, handling grievances, and conducting employee exit interviews.
- Performance Management: Implementing performance management processes and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Benefits Administration: Administering employee benefits programs.
- Payroll Processing: Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintaining payroll records.
- General Office Administration: Maintaining office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and managing office equipment.
- HR Policy and Procedure: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to HR and admin functions.
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data and HR records.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management, critical thinking and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
