Job Position: Administrative Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  1. Maintain and organize company records, documents, and files.
  2. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management.
  3. Manage office supplies and ensure the office is well-stocked.
  4. Perform general clerical tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  5. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
  6. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.

Client Communication:

  1. Respond promptly and professionally to client requests for quotes.
  2. Handle inquiries from clients regarding our products/services, pricing, and delivery.
  3. Maintain a high level of customer service in all client interactions.
  4. Keep detailed records of client communication for reference and analysis.

Office Organization:

  1. Ensure the office environment is organized, tidy, and presentable.
  2. Manage office equipment and arrange for maintenance when necessary.
  3. Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
  4. Support colleagues in various administrative tasks when required.

Compliance and Legal Support:

  1. Assist in maintaining compliance with company regulations and legal requirements.
  2. Prepare and maintain documentation related to company secretarial duties.

Job Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc / B.A in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in administrative or secretarial roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment and software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with oil and gas operations.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role within oil and gas.
  3. Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements.

N50,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
