Job Position: Female Administrative Support Officer

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

  3. You will be expected to work with the rest of our team to ensure an effortless and efficiently run front office; whilst presenting and providing the best in customer experience for all our stakeholders. Professionalism is key.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide a high quality, professional service in the school reception, and within the school administration team
  2. Complete reception duties efficiently and to provide a professional and positive welcome to all visitors, pupils and staff
  3. To deal with enquiries, by email, telephone and in person in an efficient and courteous manner and to ensure accurate information is passed to the relevant parties similarly; maintaining confidentiality at all times
  4. Comply with and support the implementation of all School and policies and procedures
  5. Ensuring records, computer systems and information are maintained accurately
  6. Action and responds to email instructions
  7. Liaising with the on-site security team where appropriate and ensuring strict security procedures are adhered to
  8. Ensuring reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  9. Updating calendars and scheduling meetings

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a BA / B.Sc / B.Ed Degree in English Language / Business Administration / Management gained from a reputable Institution
  2. Minimum of 3 years demonstrable post qualification experience of working in a similar role in a school or in a corporate office environment
  3. Must reside in Ibadan and be able to easily commute to Jericho, Ibadan
  4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; including listening and articulation
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within professional boundaries and relate well with visitors, pupils and staff
  6. Organisational skills to include ability to work in a fast-paced environment where exceptional level of service is required to be maintained, whilst managing multiple tasks, handling interruptions and prioritising effectively to meet deadlines
  7. Ability to remain calm and effectively manage and respond to difficult people or situations
  8. Ability to identify and analyse problems and use own judgement to produce an acceptable solution
  9. Understands the importance of, and has great, attention to detail
  10. Professionally presented, self-confident and smartly dressed at all times
  11. Excellent IT skills – including use of internet, e-mail, databases, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
