Job Description

  2. We’re seeking a talented Data and Artificial Intelligence Instructor (Full-Time) to join our growing team and play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of data enthusiasts. You’ll be responsible for delivering an engaging curriculum and equipping students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the ever-evolving field of data science and AI.

Scope of Work

  • The scope of work encompasses delivering assigned courses, crafting engaging materials, facilitating assessments, providing feedback, offering student support, and contributing to program and curriculum development, all while adhering to professionalism, data privacy, and intellectual property standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and create comprehensive learning materials, including lectures, design exercises, tutorials, and assessments, that align with assigned lesson plans and course objectives.
  2. Deliver AI and data science courses as scheduled, adhering to the outlined syllabus and ensuring all topics are covered comprehensively.
  3. Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills, engaging students effectively and fostering a positive learning environment.
  4. Possess prior experience in teaching or training, enabling effective delivery of complex subject matter and catering to diverse learning needs.
  5. Collaborate closely with staff and colleagues, sharing knowledge and resources to enhance the quality of instruction and improve student outcomes.
  6. Assess student learning using various assessment methods such as assignments, quizzes, and exams, while providing timely and actionable feedback.
  7. Be accessible to students during designated office hours or by appointment, offering guidance and support throughout their learning journey.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data science and AI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Possess prior experience in teaching or training, enabling effective delivery of complex subject matter and catering to diverse learning needs.
  • Proficiency in software and tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying machine learning models and conducting data analysis.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and libraries such as NLTK or SpaCy for text analysis tasks
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Ability to effectively deliver complex subject matter to diverse learners.
  • Experience with developing and implementing various assessment methods (assignments, quizzes, exams) and providing constructive feedback.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization, meeting deadlines, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with colleagues and students to achieve common goals.
