Job Description
- Amazon Data Analyst will play a crucial role in helping us make data-driven decisions to optimize our product listings, pricing strategies, inventory management, and overall performance on the Amazon platform.
- You will play a pivotal role in driving our success on the Amazon platform by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our Amazon marketplace operations, providing valuable insights, optimizing operations, and ensuring compliance with Amazon’s policies.

Job Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including Amazon Seller Central, third-party analytics tools, and internal databases. Identify key performance metrics and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor product listings, sales, and inventory levels on Amazon to ensure accuracy and compliance with Amazon’s policies. Track and report on the performance of individual products and product categories.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our product offerings, pricing, and customer reviews against competitors. Identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
- Pricing Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability on Amazon. Monitor price changes and their impact on sales and margins.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels by analyzing demand patterns and sales velocity. Provide recommendations for stock replenishment and inventory forecasting.
- Keyword and SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and optimization to improve product visibility and search ranking on Amazon. Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling product listings.
- Report Generation: Create regular reports and dashboards to summarize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Automate reporting processes where possible.
- Customer Reviews and Feedback: Monitor customer reviews and feedback on Amazon and address issues promptly. Use feedback to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Stay up-to-date with Amazon’s policies and guidelines and ensure compliance in product listings and operations. Address and resolve any policy violations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies and goals. Provide data support for marketing campaigns and product launches.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably with experience in e-commerce and Amazon marketplace analytics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and third-party Amazon analytics tools (e.g., Jungle Scout, Helium 10).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and digital marketing is a plus.
- A passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of Amazon’s marketplace dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, established routines, and accepted practices.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and flexibility to work during Central Standard Time (between 9 am – 5 pm Central Standard Time).
