Job Position: Applications Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

1. C# developer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to client-end counterparts.
2. Primary responsibiliies will be to design and develop applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
3. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Job Responsibilities

1. Interface with the business for requirement gathering and act as first level support for all user escalations
2. Building new applications, maintaining the existing software platforms
3. First Level Support for user escalation with response to applications developed locally
4. Participate in requirement gathering and documentation of software application
5. Interface with business to ensure their requirements are met
6. Database Administration – Data Backup

Job Requirements

1. First Degree in Computer Science or any relevant course
2. 3-5 years directly related work experience in Software Development in a structured environment
3. Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
4. Familiarity with the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, WCF, ASP.NET Core)
5. Familiarity with React JS or Vue JS
6. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
7. Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
8. Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
9. Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
10. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Sqlite, MySQL
11. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
12. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
13. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
15. Ability to work in and constructively contribute to team work environment and meet stringent deadlines
16. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
17. Excellent interpersonal skills
18. Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in articulating and presenting choices.
