Job Position: Area Sales Manager

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Responsibilities

  1. Deploy successful strategic marketing campaigns and ensure implementation to market our medical products and drive sales.
  2. Selling the company’s medications to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  3. Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.
  4. Leading and training a team of medical reps/marketing associates.
  5. Identifying potential new markets and creating a plan to enter the market.
  6. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals
  7. Provide product information and deliver product samples to vendors.
  8. Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  9. Build positive trust relationships with medical representatives to influence targeted groups in the decision-making process.
  10. Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  11. Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
  12. Developing an in-depth understanding of company medications with customers.
  13. Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company’s business strategies.

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of B.Sc./ HND in pharmacy, chemistry biology, or related field.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an area sales or marketing manager in the pharmaceutical field or a minimum of 5 to 6 years of work experience as a medical rep in the pharmaceutical field
  3. Able to manage and direct a minimum of 5 to 6 medical reps effectively and efficiently and get the desired results from them.
  4. Proven medical sales experience.
