Job Description
- We are seeking a passionate and creative Artist Intern for a 1-2 month paid internship.
- The ideal candidate will have a foundation in painting and/or drawing.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting and develop their artistic skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of original artworks, illustrations, and designs.
- Help with preparing materials for exhibitions, presentations, or other visual displays.
- Support in maintaining and organizing art supplies and workspaces.
- Participate in feedback sessions to refine and improve artistic work.
- Potential to assist in digital art tasks such as sketching, and painting (optional).
- Procure and purchase frames and run errands.
Job Requirements
Artistic skills:
- Background in traditional painting or drawing.
- Strong interest in developing artistic skills and exploring new creative techniques.
- Ability to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Open to constructive feedback and willing to iterate on designs.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Prior experience or education in art, design, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills (Optional but a bonus):
- Familiarity with digital drawing tools like Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of various art forms or techniques (e.g., sculpture, mixed media).
- Experience with art exhibitions, public installations, or community art projects.
