Job Position: Assistant Civil Engineer

Job Location: Ibese, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop infrastructure projects, such as buildings, drainages and basic plant facilities.
  2. Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, data analysis, report, drawing and others.
  3. Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and maintenance
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  7. Monitor and report on project progress and performance
  8. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc / HND in Civil Engineering or related field
  2. 3 to 9 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the cement industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and techniques
  4. Excellent communication and project management skills
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  7. Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as AutoCAD, CSC Orion, Others
