Job Position: Assistant Marketing Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • To focus on Marketing the E/MBA programmes, with a focus on the MBA and MMBA categories.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the social media platforms for MBA Marketing dept: Design and implement aspects of our digital marketing campaigns and advertising and execute the social media strategy.
  2. Deploy web strategies, paid searches, email campaigns and innovative social media to improve awareness and increase recruitment success for EMBA/MEMBA/MMBA/MBA marketing.
  3. Responsible for calling and following up on MBA/MMBA prospects to ensure they complete the application process before the end of each round.
  4. Establish good rapport and build relationships with prospects. Follow through to conversion.
  5. Database managements for intending and existing students: create new prospects records and daily updates of prospects records with information from front desk inquiry, phone call inquiry, email inquiry, referrals, and other sources. Excellent record keeping for transcripts.
  6. EMBA and MEMBA Rounds of Applications: File and sort individual application documents for each round. Schedule applicants for interviews and LBS administered tests.
  7. Respond to online enquiries within 48 hours.
  8. Prepare reports on the marketing campaigns overall performance.
  9. Support the Marketing manager in benchmark studies, research and competitive intelligence on competitive schools.
  10. Any other specific or adhoc duty to be assigned by line manager from time to time on initiatives that support and promote the academic missions of the institution.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc or M.Sc in Marketing, Sales or Business Development
  2. MBA is an added advantage

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 4 years in a Sales, Business Development or Marketing position with proven metrics.
  2. Digital marketing experience is a plus.
  3. Marketing certification is an added advantage.

  4. Strong interpersonal/human relations skills
  5. Excellent time management skills
  6. Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
  7. Ability to prepare and present business reports.
  8. Knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices and website analytics is a plus.
  9. High integrity, reliability and confidentiality
  10. Experience in sales or marketing
  11. Digital Marketing skills.
