Job Position: Assistant Supermarket Manager

Job Location: Lekk, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Ensure high level of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service.
  2. Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
  3. Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
  4. Directs store operations including retail operations, customer service, managing employees and sales.
  5. Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
  6. Assess local Markets conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  7. Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  8. Bring out the best of branch’s personnel through training, coaching, development and motivation.
  9. Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  10. Responsible for maintaining an acceptable gross profit, proper inventory management and reporting of store activities.
  11. Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years of managerial work experience in the retail industry.
  3. Must have run and manage a supermarket before.
  4. Powerful leading skills and business orientation.
  5. Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
  6. Strong organizational skills
  7. Attention to Details and Numerical Skills.
  8. Demonstrable Skills and Technical Competence.
  9. Interested applicants must be of high integrity.
  10. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. Be able to deliver task in a timely and quality manner.

Renumeration

  • N200,000 monthly
  • Pension, HMO, 13th Month, Breakfast and Lunch are other benefits the company provides to every staff.
