Job Position: Associate Product Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The Associate Product Manager will work as part of the Enterprise Products team to help Sun King design, develop, and implement intelligent, tech-enabled solutions to help solve a large variety of our business problems.
- We are looking for candidates with an affinity for technology and automations, curiosity towards advancement in products and strong communication skills for our in-house software development team.
Job Responsibilities
- Gather, prioritise and refine requirements while keeping team members well informed.
- Create use cases, flow charts, mock screens, PRDs for business requirements, user requirements, functional & non-functional requirements and system requirements.
- Work on the Go-To-Market / rolling out of new products/apps/automations and resolving stakeholder queries/issues.
- Work with cross-functional groups and assist in the entire product lifecycle from design to development to launch.
- Test applications/solutions/web panels at various stages of the life cycle.
- Work with the development team/or independently on integrations (using 3rd party tools to create mobile applications).
- Travel as per company requirements to places including but not limited to Kenya, India Uganda, Nigeria, Myanmar and Tanzania.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and prior 1-2 years of experience in software product management.
- Experience in rolling out successful products in the past.
- Able to structure and analyse ambiguous problems.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly through workflows, feature descriptions etc.
- Decent hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL, and any designing tools like Figma etc.
- Attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Proactive and have the willingness to get hands dirty.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the team and diverse mix of stakeholders within the organization.
