Job Position: Back-End Engineer (.Net)

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

• Because we are growing, we are in search of an experienced Back-End Developer who is able to function as a team with other developers and make excellent products for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and develop new features on the backend using web apis.
2. Maintain and enhance existing web applications and all internal systems are integrated.
3. Play a key role in building medium to large-scale public-facing, high volume based web API’s.
4. Maintain existing web APIs and support.
5. Participate in the ongoing development of applications that meet the needs of our customers.
6. Deliver new functionality and change requests for existing applications.
7. Integration to third party API’s.
8. Perform complete testing of web API’s, units, and systems, engaging users as necessary.
9. Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
10. Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process.
11. Implement, test, and bug-fix functionality.
12. Provide support to end-users.
13. Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable C# code.

Job Requirements

1. B.Sc / HND in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Relevant certification(s) in Software Engineering or its related course
3. Three or more years’ experience
4. Solid understanding and experience developing web API’s using C#.
5. Good Knowledge of Unit Testing using Xunit and Moq.
6. Working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Postgres and .Net development.
7. Experience working with teams, Agile/Scrum teams experience preferred.
8. Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
9. Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
10. Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
11. Good knowledge of AWS, Heroku and rabbit mq.
12. Knowledge of Angular and flutter is an added advantage
13. Knowledge of databases.
