Job Position: Back End Engineer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Role

  • We are actively seeking a skilled and self-motivated Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. The candidate should possess expertise in Microservices architecture and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high performance backend applications.
  2. Implement and maintain scalable and secure backend solutions.
  3. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  4. Work with Microservices architecture to build robust and scalable systems.
  5. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and efficiency.
  6. Must be familiar with ReactJS or Angular – Frontend JavaScript Framework, MySQL, Postgres – Database, RabbitMQ, Kafka – Message broker, GitHub- Source code management, Sentry – Log management, Postman, Selenium – Testing tools, New Relic, Data Dog – Monitoring, Redis – Cache, AWS – Hosting platform.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc / B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 3-5 years of professional backend development experience
  • Proficiency in PHP with Laravel.
  • Knowledge of Java and NodeJs.
  • Knowledge of building REST APIs. Knowledge of gRPC is desirable as well.
  • Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary
N4,2800,000 – N7,200,000 annually.
