Job Position: Backend API Developer
Job Location: Lagos (Remote)
Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled API Developer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing APIs to meet specified requirements, ensuring efficiency, security, and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop APIs based on provided specifications.
- Write and maintain tests to validate at least 80% API coverage.
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure successful passes before deployment.
- Troubleshoot and fix API-related bugs promptly.
- Write optimized code and evaluate queries for efficiency.
- Ensure API security, protecting against vulnerabilities.
- Use the latest Laravel, MySQL, and relevant libraries
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the CTO.
Job Requirements
- 2+ quality years of experience building Laravel APIs
Qualifications:
- Pay attention to details
- Experience with API development, testing frameworks, CI/CD
- Strong understanding of Laravel and MySQL are preferred.
- Docker
- Fintech experience is an added advantage
