Job Position: Backend Developer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our development team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications.
  • You will ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end, and you will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your colleagues into the application.marketing campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using modern programming languages.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Design and manage database schemas and queries.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and errors.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of web development processes, including design, development, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Ruby,NET, PHP, or Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), database design, and data modeling.
  • Experience with web server technologies such as Apache, Nginx, etc.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Exent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
