Job Position: Backend Developer

Job Location: Abuja (Remote)

Job Description
As part of our technical team at Amazin Trips, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Collaborate with the frontend and mobile app development teams to design and implement robust backend solutions.
2. Develop and maintain APIs to support various functionalities of our platform.
3. Optimize database performance and ensure data security.
4. Understand business requirements, provide feedback/suggestions
5. Create new or modify existing components/modules to meet business needs
6. Do code reviews, assure high quality standards, contribute to the knowledge base
7. Keep an eye on the deployment process via CI/CD tools
8. Regularly check (automatically generated) security and performance insights
9. Investigate and locate defect root causes, fix and commit.

Job Requirements

• 2 – 3 years of experience as a Backend developer
• Must have experience working on multiple projects (specifically, 2-5 projects)
• Experience with C# programming and .Net framework.
• Excellent understanding of product development process.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, Vue.js and CSS.
• Committed to performance, code quality, good practice and delivering high end products.
• Proficient with the GIT and its related tooling (branching flow, CLI commands etc.).
• You can troubleshoot problems in the team and for users.
• You’re analytical and good at time management.
• You’re curious about new technologies and you’re excited to find ways to implement them in your work.
• Have a strong command of English (both written and spoken)
• Have good experience with developing REST APIs
• Have a solid understanding of design principles.
• Have good understanding of headless and composable architecture
• Open minded and collaborative attitude.
• Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies.

Salary
N690,000 (Total Gross pay for the duration of the project) Benefits include monthly data allowance.

1. Deliverables: All project deliverables are expected to be completed over the 6-month period or earlier, based on the agreed-upon project timeline.
2. Payment: Payment will be prorated and paid monthly upon the satisfactory delivery of all tasks assigned in each month. Our commitment to timely compensation reflects our respect for your dedication and hard work.
3. Ongoing Support: We believe in collaboration and teamwork. As a member of our technical team, you will be expected to remain accessible and actively engaged for the entire period of the project. Your support will be required during development to ensure the project’s success.
