Job Position: Backend Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We’re on the lookout for backend engineer.
  2. This role is about consistently improving and changing what already exists until entrepreneurs derive maximum value from our platform, and cultivating strong relationships.
  3. If you’re passionate about creating memorable user experiences and building strong customer relationships, this is the role for you.

Job Requirements
Who you are:

  1. You have three or more years building APIs.
  2. You have two or more years with the following technologies; Git, Python, Django, Nodejs
  3. Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) to design schemas, create tables, and optimize queries.
  4. You have an in-depth knowledge of OAuth.
  5. You have an interest in how systems are built, whether machines or software.
  6. You are more interested in the problem than in the product. You are not just someone who learnt to write codes, you are a problem solver, an engineer.

  1. Build our APIs for new product features.
  2. Make changes to existing APIs.
  3. Work with team to make our services future-proof.
  4. Consistently seek to measure quality of our services and improve it.
  5. Take an obsessive interest in entrepreneurs, and the problem we are solving.
