Job Summary

The Bar Manager oversees all bar operations, ensuring exceptional beverage service, innovative drink offerings, and a vibrant atmosphere. With at least 3 years of experience, including strong expertise in mixology, the ideal candidate manages staff, controls inventory, and enhances guest experience through creative and high-quality cocktails and drinks.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead, train, and supervise bar staff to deliver top-tier service.
  2. Develop and update the beverage menu with innovative cocktails, emphasising mixology techniques.
  3. Manage inventory, procurement, and stock control to maximise profitability.
  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
  6. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback professionally.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, new spirits, and cocktail creations.
  8. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to boost bar revenue.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bar management or a similar role.
  2. Extensive mixology knowledge and skill in creating innovative cocktails.
  3. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  5. Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
  6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
