Job Description

  1. Beauty Product Specialist is responsible for expanding product and business knowledge among Brand partners by conducting professional cosmetics and sales trainings. Promoting Oriflame offers among existing and potential Brand Partners.
  2. He/she cooperates with other departments in order to ensure effective implementation of the sales programs, what ultimately contributes to the improvement of company’s image and building relations with brand partners and end consumers.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Preparing and conducting professional cosmetics trainings including the following topics:
  2. Product presentations on skin care, make-up, fragrances, etc.
  3. Cosmetics trends
  4. Catalogue offer and novelties
  5. Sales programs
  6. Sales techniques, presentations, public speaking etc.
  7. Planning online and offline events with purpose to train brand partners, preparing topics and other attractions (supporting activities, …)
  8. Preparation of presentations, materials, press releases, newsletters
  9. Studying materials and gaining information about new products
  10. Launching new products on launch meetings and other events
  11. Recording product videos about new products regularly
  12. Perform product demos to end consumers
  13. Verifying wheather existing products are still meeting market needs
  14. Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  15. Ensuring and securing the planning and the execution of actions in the Novage+ Beauty routine category in Nigeria
  16. Securing all necessary Global/Regional trainings materials are available and implemented in time
  17. Plan and execute Sales Force training sessions regarding Novage+ products out in the field in collaboration with ASMs.
  18. Secure smooth information flow to market and from market in all NOVAGE+ topics/issues. (Best practices, surveys, ad hoc info i.e. information outside normal Oriflame processes.)
  19. Gain and share best practices from other markets with local Management (case stories, product fliers, PR activities, etc.)
  20. Support sales company and consultants with all questions or issues that might arise, act as the “expert” on Novage+.
  21. Monitoring competition on market: new products, market specific information sharing, legislation, trends follow-up
  22. Online webinars and events
  23. Offline events
  24. Social media presence
  25. Catalogue and OOC preparation and presence
  26. Be ambassador and amplifier of the decorative cosmetic
  27. Exchange pages – comments and to be face
  28. Webinars online
  29. Introduction of the novelties from decorative cosmetic
  30. Participation on the events when the decorative cosmetic is present
  31. Maintaining active contact with other departments of the company, engaged in the processes of creation and implementation of sales programs (customer service, logistics, finance etc.)
  32. Checking catalogue
  33. Helping with creating flyers
  34. Develop sales tools and collateral
  35. Other projects according to current needs.

Job Requirements 

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience in conducting trainings and presentations
  2. User experience of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  3. English language proficiency
  4. Cosmetic and/or medical background (experience, education) is advantageous
  5. A structured operator and a good planner, who can successfully identify and organize relevant resources, and is a good time-manager
  6. A successful salesperson and negotiator, who is able to persuade others to “buy” ideas or products.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization as well as with leaders and external providers.
  8. Digital communication, social media and influencers’ marketing.
  9. Ability to train/coach effectively leaders and consultants.
