Job Position: Branch Manager

Job Location: Edo

Job Description

  1. Direct activities of the branch to achieve sales targets and follow up with clients to ensure good repayment records and low loan defaults.
  2. Manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Direct all operational aspects of the branch operation.
  2. Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  3. Analyse potential loan markets and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans.
  4. Achieve monthly sales targets for all products offered in the branch.
  5. Prepare periodic sales reports for all product lines.
  6. Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.
  7. Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation.
  8. Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  9. Share knowledge with other branches and head office on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
  10. Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
  11. Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
  12. Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
  13. Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a financial  institution
