Job Position: Brand Strategist

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

  • He/she will be tasked with our Brands portfolio with responsibilities including both ensuring the timely project delivery as well as delivering highest possible quality of brand strategy and functions to ensure messaging and consistency are delivered throughout each touchpoint within the customer journey across all products released by the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintain each individual brand image through the implementation of marketing initiatives
  2. Developing strategies and managing marketing campaigns across print, broadcast and online platforms to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of brands
  3. Analyze the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports
  4. Make decisions about the cost of branding and analyzing trends in customer spending
  5. Communicate with company executives, marketing personnel and public figures
  6. Build relationships with influencers, journalists and media outlets
  7. Organize events such as product launches, exhibitions and photo shoots
  8. Oversee brand consistency and complete research into industry trends and public perception
  9. Planning and coordinating the creation of print documents (Technical Artworks & Good to Prints) documentation in our PLM system for all brands
  10. Determination of print standards and specifications for our suppliers (print method, colours, ink maker, tool suppliers)
  11. Approval of first print run for new designs
  12. Coordinating objectives with marketing, creative, and advertising departments.
  13. Ability to work, often in a digital format, from conceptualizing to designing end products that’s usually printed in physical form
  14. Ability to keep consistency with brand cycles and maintain an enriched customer service experience.
  15. Ability to develop and execute brand management plans.

Job Requirements

  1. Print and pack related Engineering Degree and or at least 1-3 years practical experiences in related areas of expertise in production, artwork or design agency
  2. Branding Project management experience in the food industry and good analytical and process thinking skills
  3. Good and accurate writing and communication skills
  4. Willingness to travel to acquire more knowledge on the field
  5. Ability to take on multiple tasks at once while maintaining strong performance and consistency
  6. Ability to work both individually and in a collaborative, team environment.
  7. Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  8. Years of customer service or merchandising experience is a plus.
  9. Good customer relation/communication skills.
