Job Position: Business Analyst

Job Location: Bonny Island, Rivers

Job Description

  1. Pulling data to develop recurring or one-time reports
  2. Building dashboards for sales or managers to show results
  3. Maintaining databases, spreadsheets and other tools
  4. Analyze maintenance calls (Bi-weekly and quarterly analysis) with presentation of detailed reports to the client
  5. Identify area of opportunities and strategies to improve team performance.
  6. Analyze Material utilization, identify areas of opportunity, future projections/savings and subsequently monitor to realization.
  7. Coordinate daily cadence with the Team and OFMs
  8. Regular engagement with OFMs on the areas of improvement
  9. Regular engagement with CM and head of maintenance on strategy sustainability and review.
  10. Development, tracking and reporting of function-level operational and financial metrics based on a robust KPI framework
  11. Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  12. Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis
  13. Heavy emphasis on insights-use attribution and other analytical skills to identify key trends and potential risks and opportunities for various departments
  14. Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements.
  15. Work closely with CM to determine highly effective methods for presenting results of in-depth monthly and quarterly reports to the senior management.

Job Requirements

  1. First Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst
  3. Strong knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as Power Bi, Tableau, SQL, etc
  4. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  6. Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
  7. Innovative, organised, meticulous, and confident;
  8. Effective leadership skills.
  9. Handling multiple projects, assignments and duties
  10. Strong communications skills; written and verbal
  11. Strong analytical skills.
  12. Ideal candidate must be resident in Bonny Island, Rivers State.
