Job Description

  1. We are hiring a business analyst to join our project team.
  2. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the project manager.
  3. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.
  4. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  2. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  3. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  4. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  5. Performing requirements analysis.
  6. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  7. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  8. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  9. Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  10. Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
  11. Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
  12. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  13. Performing user acceptance testing.
  14. Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  15. Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  16. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  17. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  18. Managing competing resources and priorities.
  19. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Skills And Qualifications

  1. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks
  2. Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
  3. Understanding of MVC design patterns
  4. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  5. Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
  6. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
  7. Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
  8. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  9. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  10. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  11. Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
  12. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  13. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
  14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Job Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field or an MBA.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  3. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  4. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  5. Advanced technical skills.
  6. Excellent documentation skills.
  7. Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  8. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  9. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  10. A track record of following through on commitments.
  11. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  12. Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
  13. A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
