Job Position: Sales Consultant / Business Developer

Job Description
- We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Consultant. If you have experience in selling IT solutions and products, a knack for entering new markets, and a desire to make a significant impact in the IT industry, we want to hear from you.
- The IT Solutions Sales Specialist will lead sales efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in IT solutions and products.
- They will establish and nurture key industry relationships, promote our offerings, and drive revenue growth.

- Identify and configure new opportunities by collaborating with the Strategy & Innovation team to develop or adapt products and solutions that address customers’ needs across industry segments.
- Establish key relationships with customers and agencies based on industry segments to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenue.
- Ensure all opportunities are taken to promote our products/solutions to current and prospective customers in industry segments.
- Perform sales activities and solicit new customers.
- Prospect for new opportunities and identify profitable customers for the company’ products/solutions in the assigned sector.
- Identify networking opportunities, sales conferences, and events that would positively impact sales in the assigned industry vertical.
- Generate sales leads/opportunities that can be converted into sales and follow up diligently.
- Conduct external presentations to customers, potential clients, and channel partners by performing customer demo sessions.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and bids for customers.
- Negotiate contract and payment terms with clients and prepare tenets of agreements for review.
- Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all clients and prospective clients.
- Generate demand by proactively reaching potential customers to make them aware of the company’s products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers of products and solutions in the assigned industry vertical.
- Liaise with relevant internal teams to ensure customer issues and complaints are properly resolved (escalate where necessary).
- Drive the payment collection process by working with the Finance team to receive balance payments for completed projects within stipulated periods.
- Provide market feedback, competitor analysis, and industry insights to the supervisor.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on sales activities to the supervisor.
- Conduct research to obtain and analyse data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 5 – 15 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in the sales of IT solutions and products.
- Track record of entering new markets and sectors.
- Familiarity with selling platform business.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
