Job Position: Business Developer (Pay with Transfer)

Job Description

PalmPay is seeking dynamic and results-driven Business Developers to join our Pay with Transfer (PWT) team in Benin City. This role is key to driving growth, increasing adoption of the PWT service, and strengthening relationships with merchants and agents.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting and Merchant Acquisition: Identify and onboard quality merchants and agents suitable for the Pay with Transfer (PWT) service.
  2. Deployment of PWT Materials: Distribute and set up PWT account posters at merchant locations to ensure seamless transactions.
  3. Educating and Training: Provide comprehensive guidance to merchants on the benefits and functionalities of PWT to drive adoption and usage.
  4. Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with merchants and agents, ensuring satisfaction and continued support.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on merchant onboarding progress and PWT service adoption to achieve assigned targets.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Minimum of SSCE.
  2. Proven experience in sales or business development.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong problem-solving ability and a goal-oriented mindset.
  5. Familiarity with the local market and merchant network in Edo State is a plus.

Compensation

  1. Salary: N70,000 basic + N20,000 transportation allowance.
  2. Commission: N0 – N100,000.
