Job Position: Business Development Assistant

Job Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify and target potential clients and partners to expand our client base.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and convert them into profitable business deals.
  4. Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Utilize spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and Word to analyze sales and distribution data.
  2. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and proposals to support business development efforts.
  3. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.

New Product Development (NPD) Tracking:

  1. Track and report on the progress of new product development initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  3. Provide feedback and insights on potential improvements and innovations.

Research and Market Analysis:

  1. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential niches.
  2. Analyze data to assess market feasibility and competitiveness.
  3. Stay updated on industry news and developments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Business and Marketing related fields are at an advantage. (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
  • 4 – 5 years work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
