Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Description

  1. Our Company is seeking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to establish and maintain strong business relationships with Agents, distributors, facilitate bulk purchases of our products from organizations/entities and explore new business opportunities in the FinTech industry.
  2. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for implementing and developing commercial and strategic relationships with vendors and external partners in accordance with the company’s business objective, strategic goals, and strategies.
  3. Achieve all revenue goals for assigned coverage area by developing, building and strengthening long-term relationships with customers, agents and vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Bringing on new Agents /Partners, new business opportunities, bulk purchase businesses and constantly drive growth in the FinTech business
  2. Build and nurture relationships with new and existing accounts
  3. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key wholesale accounts to stakeholders
  4. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly goals to internal and external stakeholders
  5. Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
  6. Responsible for managing an assistant to overseeing all pre-shipping requirements from vendors.
  7. Create weekly reporting to the rest of the business on wholesale sell-through/feedback/launches and any issues
  8. Effectively sell and educate customers about the features, benefits & provenance of brand products.
  9. Raise brand awareness through broader channels of distribution as well as negotiating key floor space and new locations with existing partners
  10. Forecast and track key account metrics
  11. Monitor and analyze customers usage of our products in Key Partner outlets

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable institution is compulsory
  2. Minimum of 5 years proven partnership or account management experience.
  3. Experience in a Fintech industry is an added advantage
  4. Experience in delivering partner-focused solutions based on customer needs
  5. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  7. Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  9. Excellent time and project management skills
  10. Excellent Interpersonal skills and organizational skills
  11. Ability to Negotiate and manage relationships.
  12. Decision making skills
  13. Technical Skills.
