Cifek International Limited is a Nigerian-based nutritional company, duly registered and operating across all the Nigerian states and West African sub-region. We started the business with the distribution of a few single ingredients for food and feed applications. But as we promptly responded to our customers’ needs with innovative and cost-saving solutions, leading to increased trust and mutual dependency, we gained our customers’ loyalty and referrals.

Today we have grown our customer base, product portfolios, and international supplier partnership. As a result, we supply a wide range of quality feed additives, veterinary medicaments, feed concentrates, Vitamins and Minerals, special performance products, and nutritional supplements.

Job Position: Business Development Executive

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, deploying, and managing targeted sales activities with specific customer-centric value propositions translating into smarter, safer, more efficient business decisions for our customers.
  • You will develop sales assets, processes, and tools capable of supporting Business Development and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • You will engage with all levels of the customer and act as their trusted advisor.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while following established pricing policies.
  • Regular meeting with new and existing customers within the livestock industry to evaluate needs and makes product/service suggestions
  • Maintain a high degree of awareness of customer’s next best alternatives and communicate competitive challenges in a timely manner to sales management and technology teams.
  • Follow company standard sales procedure designed to sell value of solutions to the market
  • Ensure the customer is satisfied during the initial stages of the product implementation
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and influencers at assigned account
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management’s strategic decision-making
  • Continuously strives to learn about the products and influencing theories

Job Requirements

  • A combination of advanced education and experience preferably in Animal Nutrition or Veterinary
  • DVM / B.Sc / HND in Veterinary Medicine / Animal Science / Animal Nutrition
  • 3-5 years experience in Veterinary /Animal Health products
  • Detail-oriented, organized, skilled at prioritizing, and motivated by accomplishment
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytic skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
