Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive who will play a key role in driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing key corporate accounts.

This individual will act as a strategic partner to clients, offering tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across target industries and sectors.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients and decision-makers.
  3. Understand client objectives and propose tailored engagement strategies and solutions.
  4. Develop and implement a strategic sales pipeline focused on acquiring and managing corporate and key accounts across various sectors.
  5. Build and nurture long-term strategic partnerships that translate into sustainable revenue opportunities.
  6. Develop tailored sales proposals, demo videos, concept notes, and customised brand solutions based on client needs and insights.
  7. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and pitches to stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
  8. Maintain regular contact and relationship-building activities with existing clients to drive repeat business and upselling.
  9. Collaborate closely with the tech team to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, timely, and impactful.
  10. Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to optimise outreach strategies and position the client’s offerings effectively.
  11. Ensure post-sales follow-through and account servicing by coordinating internal teams and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  12. Represent the company at key industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings as required.
  13. Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth objectives.
  14. Maintain accurate sales pipeline records using CRM tools and provide regular reports to the Director.

Qualification Required

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of business development or sales experience in the service industry (industry, service, advertising, marketing, consulting, etc.).
  3. Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  4. Preferred age range is 25 – 40 years.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a start-up environment.
  7. Familiarity with the Portharcourt corporate landscape and existing networks is an added advantage.
