Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

  1. Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  2. Monitor industry developments and technological advancements to stay ahead of the curve.
  3. Plan and execute impactful marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  1. Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
  2. Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, leveraging your network and industry knowledge.
  3. Engage with corporate clients, SMEs, and public sector entities to drive new business growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, serving as their trusted advisor.
  2. Deeply understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions that address their specific challenges.
  3. Explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  1. Develop compelling sales presentations and collateral to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings.
  2. Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our technology solutions.
  3. Coordinate initial presentations with prospects to provide insights into product functionality and features.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  1. Collaborate closely with technical and product teams to craft customized proposals aligned with client requirements.
  2. Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and contracts to secure deals and meet revenue targets.
  3. Ensure seamless integration of contract requirements with business operations to deliver on commitments.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  1. Foster strong collaboration with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  2. Act as a conduit for feedback from the market, providing insights to internal teams for product enhancement and improvement.
  3. Coordinate efforts across departments to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  1. Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  2. Generate regular reports on sales performance metrics and contribute to accurate sales forecasting.
  3. Monitor and track progress towards sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to drive results.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of HND / BSc in any related field.
  3. Proven experience in business development and sales within the technology industry, with a focus on digital transformation tools and ERP solutions.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of technology products and services, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Results-driven mindset with a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
