Job Position: Business Development Executive

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Focus on selling ValuAlliance wealth management services to high-net worth individuals and institutional clients by identifying potential clients, building client relationships, and providing high-quality service.
  2. Engage prospective clients with a view to identifying and understanding their needs and objectives and working with the investment team to provide recommendations suited to each client.
  3. Provide high-quality client engagement through scheduled client meetings and regular client interactions.
  4. Act as liaison between the firm and clients; representing firm to clients and clients to firm.
  5. Participate in internal investment review of clients’ investment portfolios.
  6. Work with the Investment Operations team, to ensure timely delivery of periodic portfolio reports and statements to clients.
  7. Regularly provide feedback to the Investment team from interactions with potential & existing clients.
  8. Achieve asset and revenue targets.

Job Requirements

  • 5 years experience in relationship management and sales experience within wealth management, private banking, trust, family office or financial planning industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand clients’ financial situations.
  • Good knowledge of financial markets
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record that demonstrates exceptional ability to grow revenue, assets, and client base.
  • High achiever with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Able to operate successfully in a team environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
