Job Position: Business Development Executive

Job Location: Bodija, Ibadan – Oyo

Job Description

  1. We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to contribute to the achievement of our business growth objectives.
  2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
  3. This role requires a combination of strong sales acumen, market knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and aligning our solutions to meet them.
  3. Make recommendations to the Marketing team on sales strategies for improving profit and projecting the Company’s brand
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for client pitches.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments, external partners, and clients regarding logistics-related inquiries, requests, and issues
  6. Carry out market research to advise the Company on product price points, trending gadgets, industry standards, and competitor advantages and implement customer surveys.
  7. Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  9. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our presence in the market.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, performance, and market insights to the management team.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  2. Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles
  3. Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
  6. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  7. Highly organized with strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
