Job Description

  1. We are seeking proactive and result-oriented individuals to join our team as Business Development Executives. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities.
  2. We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, have a strong business acumen, and thrive in a target-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitors, and develop strategies to target and acquire new business opportunities.
  2. Identify and pursue leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online platforms.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and aligning company solutions to meet their requirements.
  4. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to showcase the company’s products or services, highlighting key benefits and value propositions.
  5. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and the client.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of client solutions.
  7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities and propose innovative strategies.
  8. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  9. Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline updates, and business development progress to management.
  10. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build industry knowledge, expand networks, and generate leads.
  11. Stay up-to-date with the company’s products or services, industry knowledge, and market trends to effectively position the company as a leader in the market.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • 3 – 6 years work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or a similar role, with a successful track record in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with the capability to influence decision-making processes.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and proactively generate leads.
  • Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and propose effective business strategies.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales tracking tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business environments and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Salary
N45,000 – N70,000 monthly
