Job Position: Business Development Executive

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems.
  2. Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
  3. Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.
  4. Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement business development strategies.
  5. Lead negotiations with potential clients
  6. Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  7. Set strategies and objectives for lead generation.
  8. Source new leads and develop a network of key stakeholders.
  9. Orchestrate new business meetings/pitches, and prepare presentations.
  10. Work closely with the business owners on a business growth strategy and then devise an action plan with goals and objectives.
  11. Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise clients.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc in Marketing or its equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years experience in marketing.
  3. Experience in both the Project Management and Business Development side of running a business.
  4. Strong customer service and sales skills for generating leads
  5. Has a clientele base and maintains existing relationships with them.
  6. Has good salesmanship skills.
  7. Has experience as a Client service, Account Management, Business Development Executive, or equivalent in the marketing and advertising industry.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building meaningful relationships with clients
  9. Attention to detail and organization skills for honing in on each necessary task
  10. Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
  11. Well-spoken and articulate
  12. Must have experience working in a Marketing and Communications Agency.
  13. Excellent communicator with the ability to sell and convince.
  14. Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
  15. This role is a fully remote job and is based on commission (very competitive commission)
