Job Position: Business Development Lead (Digital Marketing Agency)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Business Development Lead to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be tasked with identifying potential clients, understanding their digital marketing requirements, working with the strategy team to build strategy, creating proposals and getting them excited about the possibilities, negotiating, and signing them.

Job Responsibilities
Unify Data Assets:Save or export all data assets to CRMEngage:

  • First Level Presentation & Discovery Meeting· Provide first-level company profile presentation and position the brand as the best-integrated performance marketing agency in Nigeria/West Africa.

Strategy & Proposal:

  1. Work with Strategy/Mini Strategy team to deliver strategy and Pitches.
  2. Work on defining solutions, scoping the deliverables across paid own and earn media.
  3. Proposal Creation
  4. Contract Sign up
  5. Client Onboarding & kick Off
  6. Once Contract is signed, plan an internal and client kick-off meeting and hand them over to the respective business leads to manage the brand/project/Deliverables.
  7. Track all Brief Documents, proposals, Contracts, and Client Onboarding daily.
  8. Coordinating Lead Nurturing
  9. Planning, Reporting & Analytics

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation. (3 years of experience in selling Digital Marketing/Marketing services is a must.)
  • 2+ years of experience in account-based marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and the local language
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately in a wide variety of circumstances, both verbally and in writing,
  • High EQ, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Ability to facilitate and maintain positive relationships.
  • Passionate about people and knows the art of communication and persuasion.
  • Experience with Employee monitoring tools, Task management tools, collaboration tools, or other project management tools will be highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and the local language
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise in selling business services to SMEs and large businesses
  • Experience in using CRM tools and automation tools.
  • Experience onboarding clients and doing some account management with larger signings
  • Organized, process-driven, with excellent knowledge of sales techniques in B2B sales
