Job Description

  • We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the sales of lubricants products in Lagos, West, East, Central, North Central North West and North East.

Job Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:

  1. Develop integrated marketing strategies, product pricing and sales plans for the development of commercial products.
  2. Design processes that will guide commercial operations.
  3. Evaluate design and provide resources requirement that will guarantee the achievement of commercial objectives
  4. Conduct market research, market trend analysis and competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities and develop marketing plans and activities accordingly.
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer preference and position Hyde’s product accordingly
  6. Provide reasonable budget assumptions for the sales and marketing division that will ensure SMART Budget are set.
  7. Assist to develop strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of the company’s brand.

Sales & Marketing Management:

  1. Implement sales and marketing strategy and take necessary action to correct deviations.
  2. Source and manage relationships with and evaluate the effectiveness of outsourced providers of marketing services
  3. Coordinate and participate in promotional activities.
  4. Execute developed product launches and related marketing initiatives.
  5. Ensure adherence to the sales process to achieve market share gains within key customers segment.
  6. Provide input on the company’s media and public relations advertising.
  7. Ensure all marketing strategies adhere to the company’s ethical code of conduct.

Networking & Relationship Management:

  1. Maintains contact and good relationship with all clients and ensure high-level client satisfaction
  2. Establish close business relationships with the clients’ and act as a contract negotiator in transactions
  3. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
  • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining market share, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, forecasting projected business, establishing targeted market share

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

  1. A First Degree (Minimum of a Second Class Lower) in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant discipline.
  2. MBA, Master’s Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 7 years sales management experience in the lubricant industry
  2. Strong sales track record.
  3. Experience in Lubricants sales and production is necessary.

Salary
N350,000 – N500,000 monthly.
