Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine (DCGM) is the pioneering Genomic medicine services in Nigeria in partnership with a UK based ISO certified bioscience laboratory in delivering over 5000 tests in Nigeria, including test not currently offered by any lab in Nigeria. We specialize in Invitro-diagnostics, in addition we also service Life science industries such as Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, food & beverage industries via our subsidiary company GTL.

Job position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Abuja

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  2. Identify new market opportunities and trends to expand the laboratory’s and other business services.
  3. Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
  4. Work with the product/service development team to identify new service offerings and improvements to existing services.
  5. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  6. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  7. Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  8. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the laboratory and other businesses.
  9. Provide market feedback to inform product development and innovation.
  10. Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and sales performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or medical laboratory industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and business development processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
