Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Description

  • The right candidate will identify, develop, build, manage, and deliver business development sales targets for the institution, manage relationships with new and existing clients, generate new sales leads, maintain relationships with new contacts, and develop and implement event-related sales marketing initiatives to drive revenue and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  2. Could you conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs?
  3. Could you arrange business meetings with prospective clients?
  4. Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  5. Could you provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support?
  6. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  7. Develop entry-level staff into valuable sales people.

Job Requirements 

  1. B.Sc. in Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or any relevant degree.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in business development, sales or marketing in a similar environment.
  3. Proven sales track record.
  4. Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  6. Communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Time management and planning skills.
  8. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
  9. Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  10. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
